2. HEADLINES, LINKS AND SOURCES
Headlines, articles, game results and other news belong to their publishers. We show a source's own headline and link to the original. To read the full story, follow the link to the publisher's site.
Government and public data are credited to the agencies that publish them, including the U.S. Census Bureau (maps, places and roads), the National Weather Service and NOAA (weather alerts, outlooks and storm reports), TxDOT and the county (road projects and closures), the Texas Education Agency and NCES (school records), federal agencies such as the Federal Register, USAspending.gov, FEMA and EPA (Federal section), and city and county governments (meetings, agendas, minutes, votes and contacts). Road shapes and suggested alternate routes use OpenStreetMap data (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL) through the OSRM demo server. Radar images come from the Iowa Environmental Mesonet.
School mascot badges are original drawings, not school logos, and do not mean any school endorses or is connected with this app. Property lookups only open the appraisal district's own official search; we do not show or store owner records.
Listing a source, official, school, business or project is not an endorsement of that source, person, business or position. Summaries of meetings and records are auto-generated and labeled; the linked original is the official record.
3. INFORMATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS"
We work to keep everything accurate, but information may be delayed, incomplete, out of date or wrong, and sources can change or go offline. Always check the original source.
This is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call 911. For severe weather and tornadoes, follow official National Weather Service warnings and local sirens. For road conditions, closures and event traffic, follow TxDOT and local authorities.
Nothing in the app is legal, financial, tax, real-estate or traffic-safety advice.
4. WHAT YOU MAY NOT DO
You may use the app for your own personal information. Without written permission from M3 · Maverick Music and Media, you may not:
- scrape, crawl or bulk-download the app or its data feeds;
- copy, republish, frame or mirror the app, its code or its design;
- resell, license or build a competing product from the app or its design.
5. YOUR PRIVACY
The app does not ask for your location. You pick a town on the map or with the town buttons.
The app keeps a few settings on your device only (when you last visited, and whether layers, sound and similar options are on). It uses no cookies, no ads and no analytics trackers. If you turn on weather notifications, your browser shows them on your device while the page is open; we do not collect a subscription or contact details.
Like most websites, our server keeps standard web logs (your IP address, the page requested and your browser type) to run and protect the site. Your browser also loads fonts from Google Fonts and weather and radar data directly from the National Weather Service, NOAA and the Iowa Environmental Mesonet; links you follow go to other sites. Those services receive normal web requests from your browser under their own privacy policies.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent the law allows, M3 · Maverick Music and Media and its owners are not liable for any loss or damage of any kind that comes from using, or not being able to use, the app or anything shown in it, including information from third-party sources. Your only remedy if you're unhappy with the app is to stop using it.
7. GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Ellis County, Texas.
8. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top. Using the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
